ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) – Authorities in Ithaca have seen an uptick in overdoses.
The Ithaca Police Department says they’ve responded to “an unusual number” of overdoses this week. Health officials in Broome and Tioga Counties have noted similar increases already this month. They recommend drug users get test strips for fentanyl and xylazine and have Narcan readily available.
