ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — Ithaca’s Green New Deal is entering a new phase.

The Sustainability office says ten additional commercial buildings in the city are going all-electric over the next few months. City officials say the decarbonization represents an investment of nearly two million dollars.

The Green New Deal in Ithaca hopes to achieve carbon neutrality and climate justice by 2030.
