ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — Ithaca leaders will take a close look at a proposal from Cornell.

The university is planning to build a 90-thousand-square-foot sports facility called the Meinig Fieldhouse. It would be on Tower Road.

The Town of Ithaca’s Planning Board will talk about the project tonight at 6:30 PM.

Elsewhere in Tompkins County, legislators will meet tonight to discuss tourism and volleyball.
