DANBY, N.Y. (WHCU) — There are no reports of injuries after a smoky situation in Danby.

Authorities responded to a home on Marsh Road on Friday night. They say a malfunctioning pellet stove was filling the house with smoke.

Crews ventilated the home; there was no damage to the property.

The Brooktondale Volunteer Fire Company assisted on the scene.
