ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — Driving in the City of Ithaca is about to get a little bit easier. 

The South Albany Street Bridge is set to reopen at 5 o’clock tonight. It’s been closed since May for a replacement project that also added bike lanes and 8-foot sidewalks on both sides.

City officials say it will close again briefly in the spring for final detail work.
