ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — There are signs of better days ahead for TCAT. 

Despite a challenging times during the COVID-19 pandemic, General Manager Scot Vanderpool tells WHCU he’s optimistic about the transit company in the new year.

New recruits don’t need prior experience driving a bus. 

Vanderpool says training for new drivers can range from five to nearly 10 weeks depending on experience.
