ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — Ithaca’s independent movie house is getting their rent reduction agreement extended.

Cinemapolis Executive Director Kate Donohue says they’re on a better road.

Donohue is projecting a 10% drop in donations next year. This year, Cinemapolis reported a modest profit.

The Ithaca Urban Renewal Agency’s Economic Development Committee has extended Cinemapolis’ rent abatement through June. Tuesday’s decision was unanimous.
