ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — Conversations continue on how to combat homelessness in Tompkins County.
Legislator Randy Brown says people should not be living in shacks or under tarps.
“The county’s requirement is that no individual should have to live in a structure that does not meet some minimum standard,” he says.
Brown calls the Ithaca Jungle a “major health hazard.” He says he’s excited to work with the city on solutions.
