ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) – Some popular hiking trails in Ithaca are closed for the winter.

All of the closures are related to winter maintenance issues and are located near Cornell University. The Cascadilla Gorge Trail is shut down between Linn Street and College Avenue. Part of Beebe Lake’s Lakeside Trail and the Tang Staircase near Forest Home Drive are also closed. The trails will reopen when the weather breaks in the spring.
