(607NewsNow) — Our pets of the week start with Todd (Top L) and Mr. Goodbar (Top R) from CNY Snap.

Todd is about 3 years old and is a sweet and loving boy. He came in as a stray in December 2025 and needed a double entropion surgery on his eye lids. He’s ready to have a home where he’ll be showered with attention, often wandering around to get as many pets as he can. He is FIV positive, but he looks and acts like any other cat. FIV is only transmitted to other felines primarily through deep, penetrating bite wounds. He has been neutered, microchipped, and is up to date on vaccines.

Mr. Goodbar is an adult cat (3-8 years old) and was rescued after a volunteer at the shelter received a tip that there was a stray cat in need. He was dehydrated, malnourished, and infested with fleas and also sustained other injuries that were then treated after coming to the shelter. He lives up to his name because of his sweet and friendly personality, always ready to be pet. Mr. Goodbar has been neutered, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, and is microchipped and up to date on vaccines.

Next, we have Sofia (Bottom L) and Nelson (Bottom R) from the Cortland County SPCA. Sofia is 5 months old and is a little shy at first, but it doesn’t take her long to warm up to new people and want to curl up in their lap. She is a calm and gentle dog who loves to play and take lots of naps, usually found cuddling up to someone.

Nelson is 1 year old and is always ready to play and learn a new game, but loves to wind down with his people and snuggle up to them. Being so young, he has lots of energy and love to give. He would do well in a home that can keep him active and entertained, but also shows him lots of affection.
