ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — Tompkins County legislators aim to bring down bullying.

Officials say verbal and physical harassment is affecting children. They add parents, teachers, and coaches can help create bully-free environments.

In hopes to bring change, the legislature plans to proclaim October as ‘United in Kindness Month.’
