CORTLAND, N.Y. (WHCU) — More parking penalties could be coming to Cortland.

Common Council is considering setting $35 fines for people parked in city lots between 3 AM and 6 AM. The fines would match the current penalties for overnight parking on city streets.

People with residential permits could park in designated spots in the lots.

Officials meet at 6 PM tonight at Cortland City Hall to consider the change.
