(607NewsNow) — Our pets of the week start with Kevin (Top L) and Nina (Top R) from the Cortland County SPCA.
Kevin is a little over 6 years old and is a reserved and calm girl who came to the shelter with her sister Kevi when their owner could no longer care for them. Although she enjoys her solitude and is happiest finding a warm safe place to hide away and nap the day away, she is very affectionate once she gets comfortable around you.
Nina is a spunky 4-month-old tiger tabby with lots to say. She is very energetic, vocal, and will let you know when she’s wanting pets, or food, or anything else. Nina is a sweet, playful girl who would do well in a house with another cat to play with or on her own.
Next, we have Dutchess (Bottom L) and Thor (Bottom R). Dutchess is 3-year-old girl and is gentle, kind, and full of heart with a calm presence that makes everyone feel at ease. Despite her calm demeanor, Dutchess loves to play whether it’s a game of fetch, silly zoomies, or just joining in on whatever her people are doing.
Thor is 3.5 years old and is very sweet and loves playing with kids, always wanting to join in on family fun. He is very gentle and affectionate, loving to soak up attention whenever he can and chase his toys around. Thor would make a great addition to a family looking for a loyal, playful companion.
