BROOKTONDALE, N.Y. (WHCU) — One Tompkins County fire department is receiving more calls about crashes.

The Brooktondale Volunteer Fire Company responded to four accidents last month. That’s up from August and July.

On Saturday, authorities responded to Slaterville Road in Caroline after a car drove off the road. No one was hurt.
