ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — Operations at the Ithaca Police Department may become more data-driven.

IPD is looking to add a crime analyst. Officials say the position would interpret data during investigations – plus provide transparency for the public. It would be a full-time job.

Ithaca’s City Administration Committee meets tonight at 6 PM to consider creating the position.
