CORTLANDVILLE, N.Y. (WHCU) – A larceny complaint leads to a felony for a woman in Cortlandville.
Authorities were called to Walmart on Saturday to investigate an alleged theft. Hope Eades, 48, of Cortland, is accused of taking items without paying for them. Officials say Eades had fentanyl, prescription pills, and cash on her at the time of arrest. Eades is charged with felony drug possession, misdemeanor drug possession, and misdemeanor petit larceny.
Eades is scheduled to appear in Cortlandville Town Court on Monday at 11:00 a.m.
