PREBLE, NY (607NewsNow) — One person is dead after a 2-vehicle crash in the town of Preble. 

The Cortland County Sheriff’s Office says an SUV driver didn’t stop at the intersection of Rt. 281 and Preble Road around 10:45 p.m. Friday, Oct. 24 and crashed into a pickup truck. The SUV driver is identified as Wallace Grevelding, and deputies say he died of serious injuries at Upstate Medical Center.  

Deputies say the pickup truck driver was treated for unspecified injuries.
