CORTLAND, N.Y. (WHCU) — Cortland County lawmakers will weigh-in on a weapon bill.
A proposal would allow the sheriff and undersheriff to keep their department-issued gun upon retirement. They would need a pistol permit from the state.
The Judiciary & Public Safety Committee meets at 8:45 AM on Thursday to discuss.
