ALBANY, N.Y. (WHCU) — State education will benefit from nearly a billion dollars of sports gambling revenue.

In New York’s first year of mobile sports wagering, over $900 million was generated. Governor Hochul says the money will go toward education and youth sports. She calls the state a “national leader in providing responsible entertainment.”
