ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — Tompkins County tourism is showing signs of positivity.

In the second quarter of 2023, room tax collection from hotels and bed-and-breakfast spots exceeded $1,000,000. That’s more than the same time period last year.

Officials expect the Brooktondale Zucchini Festival and Groton Olde Home Days to attract visitors later this month.
