(607NewsNow) — Our pets of the week start with Jackson (Top L) and Rita (Top R) from CNY Snap.

Jackson is about 7 months old and is a shy guy. He is coming around and getting more comfortable with people, but could use a patient person to give him some time and space to come out of his shell. Currently in a foster home, he would do best in a quiet home with another cat to keep him company. He has been neutered, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, and is microchipped and up to date on vaccines.

Rita is about 3 years old and was surrendered in April with her kittens after their owner wasn’t able to care for them. She is a sweet cat and a good mom, enjoying the company of other cats. Rita is currently in a foster home in the Cortland area, waiting for a permanent place to call home. She has been spayed, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, and is microchipped and up to date on vaccines.

Next, we have Oakley Rose (Bottom L) and Cosmo (Bottom R) from the Cortland County SPCA. Oakley Rose is a little over 1 year old and loves to play fetch, solve puzzles, and has mastered all the commands taught to her at the shelter. She is playful and sweet, consistently entertaining everyone with her goofy personality. Oakley Rose is not very fond of kids or vets, but still has a very friendly demeanor and loves to be around people.

Cosmo is friendly and affectionate and loves to play as much as he loves to cuddle. He is 1 year old, so he has plenty of energy to go around and loves to goof around, but always wants to snuggle up with his favorite people at the end of the day and show them some love.
