MARATHON, NY (607NewsNow) — The Village of Marathon has a new Planning Board member.

William Alexy was appointed to the board on June 18. He was recruited by Marathon Mayor Scott Chamberlin.

Chamberlin said Alexy is communicative and intelligent. Alexy will serve on the board indefinitely.
