ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — A racial justice non-profit is calling on Ithaca to be more collaborative.

Jordan Clemons is the founder of Unbroken Promise Initiative. He says the organization has not had a real conversation with the city since last year.

“I’m asking the city to reach out and build relationship, and really get something in place,” he says.

In June, Common Council delayed a decision on providing $50,000 to the group. Alderperson George McGonigal said the initiative was unresponsive about how the money would be used.
