ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — Senator Chuck Schumer wants you to check out the FCC’s broadband map and see if there are any corrections needed.

Per the Ithaca Voice, Schumer was at Dryden Town Hall on Wednesday urging residents across Tompkins County to visit broadbandmap.fcc.gov, which currently shows 100% coverage in New York State. Schumer says if they’re wrong about where you live, you have until tomorrow to tell them.

The senior senator for New York added that in the 21st century, broadband is as necessary as electricity was last century.
