An open call for proposals is underway for the 2025 Community Grants Program, which aims to promote and improve the quality of life in the county. The maximum award amount has been increased to $1,500.

Interested parties must be classified as a non-profit charitable organization or have a sponsor that is. There is a limit of one request per organization, and grants will not be awarded for larger capital campaigns or scholarship programs. All funds must be expended by May 1 of the following year.

Proposal Details Must Include (in order)

  1. Legal name of organization
  2. Federal Employer Identification Number (EIN)
  3. Name, address, email, and telephone number of the executive director and the grant contact person
  4. Organization website URL
  5. Brief description of the organization’s mission; have 501(c)3 status? Yes or No
  6. Dollar amount requested
  7. One sentence description of the grant need/request
  8. Concise needs statement describing the project and its significance to the community
  9. Simple project budget
  10. Names of the governing body/board and officers

Proposals should be no more than three pages and exclude annual reports or newsletters.

Applications must be submitted by midnight on July 31 by email or mail.
