CORTLAND, N.Y. (WHCU) – Authorities in Cortland are searching for suspects in a bank robbery that happened Friday.
Just before noon Cortland Police responded to a heist that occurred at Tompkins Trust Bank on Main Street in the city. A white male wearing a Yankees hat and dark blue hooded sweatshirt slipped the teller a note and left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The man has a white goatee beard and tattoos on his hands, arm, and neck. He left the area in a white four door Mitsubishi that was being driven by a woman in a red t-shirt. The vehicle was last seen traveling north on Church Street. Anyone who recognizes or spots the pair is asked to contact Cortland Police.
