UPDATE: Cayuga Orthopedics and Occupational Medicine appointments are proceeding as planned on Friday, June 23, 2023. Officials say Imaging Services will resume in the coming days. An alternative plan is in place for patients needing imaging. 

ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) – A medical office in Ithaca is closed for cleanup after a small fire.

It happened in a bathroom at Cayuga Medical Associates (CMA) on Brentwood Drive around 11:30 p.m. last night. Damage was minimal and there were no injuries. Officials say they’re working to reopen the building ‘as soon as possible.’

The building contains Cayuga Orthopedics, Imaging Services and Occupational medicine. CMA staff is contacting patients directly to relocate or reschedule appointments.
