ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — Today is school budget vote day for the 2025-26 academic year.

TOMPKINS COUNTY

Polls in the Ithaca City School District are open today from noon to 9 p.m. They’re asking voters to approve a $169 million with a 3.76% tax levy increase. Also on the ballot, a proposition to spend nearly $2.3 million on new buses and other vehicles. Find polling locations here.

A $48.6 million budget is on the line in the Dryden Central School District, where polls are open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. in the MS/HS auditorium.

The Lansing Central School District seeks approval of a $39.7 million dollar budget. Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. in the elementary school cafeteria.

It’s a $32.1 million budget in the Trumansburg Central School District. Voting takes place at the Ulysses Historical Society from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The Newfield Central School District invites residents to vote today in the lower elementary gym from noon to 9 p.m.

In the Groton Central School District, voters are headed to the Jr/Sr High School from noon to 9 p.m.

CORTLAND COUNTY

In the Cortland Enlarged City School District, polls are open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Their proposed budget is $61.6 million. Voting gets underway at the Kaufman Center, Virgil Town Hall, and the Cortlandville Municipal Garage.

The Homer Central School District will host voters from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. The proposed $50.7 million spending plan includes a 3.9% tax levy increase. Voting is taking place in the Homer Training and Education Center at Homer HS.

The McGraw Central School District asks for approval of a $16.8 million budget. Polls open at noon and close at 8 p.m.

Polls in the Marathon Central School District are open from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m in the CSE office on the 1st floor of the Jr/Sr HS.

The Cincinnatus Central School District has an $18.9 million dollar budget on the line as polls are open from noon to 8 p.m. in the large gymnasium foyer.
