The Cornell men’s lacrosse team is moving on in the NCAA Tournament. Over the weekend, the Big Red squeaked by Richmond 13-12. Cornell sophomore Ryan Goldstein led the way with four goals. The Big Red will next play Penn State in the semifinals on Saturday. Our neighbors to the north, Syracuse, also punched their ticket to the final four, outlasting Princeton 19-18. The Orange will face No. 2 seed Maryland in the semifinals.

Softball season has ended at Ithaca College. On Saturday, the Bombers fell to Texas Lutheran 9-1 in the NCAA Regional Championship. Ithaca committed two errors in the loss.

There’s no more softball or baseball at SUNY Cortland. Over the weekend, both programs were eliminated in the NCAA Tournament.

The Knicks finished off the Celtics on Friday. New York will next face Indiana in the Eastern Conference Finals. The series starts on Wednesday in the Big Apple.

The Yankees took the Subway Series crown. Over the weekend, the pinstripes won two-out-of-three games against the Mets. The Yankees are resting today, while the Mets begin a new series in Boston.

Back-to-back wins for the Binghamton Rumble Ponies. Binghamton beat Hartford 5-4 on Sunday.
