(607NewsNow) — Our pets of the week start with Wayne (Top L) and Goliath (Top R) from CNY Snap.

Wayne is approximately 5 years old and has most likely been trying to survive as a stray for a long time. Coming to the shelter is a big change for him, but he has become used to people being around and getting pet, Typically, he’s alone lounging in a cat tree. He is FIV positive but still looks and acts like any other cat. FIV is only transmitted to other felines primarily through deep, penetrating bite wounds. His adoption fee has been waived in order to find him a good home. He has been neutered, FeLV negative, and is microchipped and up to date on his vaccines.

Goliath is about 6-7 months old. He’s still at a foster placement because he was the shyest of his brothers, but he does like to be pet. He gets along well with other cats and would do well being adopted with his brother Lazarus, or into a home with another friendly cat. He has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and tested negative for FIV and FeLV.

Next, we have BB (Bottom L) and Marsha (Bottom R) from the Cortland County SPCA. BB is about 2 years old and is an outgoing and vocal guy who likes to tell it like it is. He has a lot to say and likes to be in charge and doesn’t usually vibe well with other cats as a result, so a home where he’s the only cat would be best. He gets along well with humans, enjoying being pet and playing with his toys.

Marsha is about 6 months old and is a sweet girl who loves to get pets, attention, and cuddles. She also likes nice soft spots for napping and would likely be an amazing cuddle buddy. Although she is young, she has a calm and gentle demeanor and is easy to connect with.
