CORTLAND, NY (607NewsNow) — Cortland County is collecting more money from shoppers.

The county brought in about $40.2 million in sales tax last year. That’s roughly a 2.6 percent increase from 2023.

So far this year, sales tax collections are on pace to rise again in the county.
