ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — Officials in Ithaca are still looking at homelessness.
Deputy City Manager Dominick Recckio has led the Advisory Committee on Encampment Response Policy, which released an updated policy draft on Monday. One change includes the creation of a ‘navigation hub’ that connects the city’s unhoused population with services.
The Common Council will review the proposal when they meet tomorrow, April 9. A vote to accept the plan is scheduled for the May 7th Common Council meeting.
