CORTLAND, N.Y. (WHCU) — A budget vote failure means the Cortland Enlarged City School District needs a Plan B.
The school board will hold an emergency meeting later today to approve a revised budget for the 2023 to 2024 academic year. A budget hearing will be held June 13, then a vote is set seven days later.
Tuesday’s result was 452 to 543, defeating the $54.5 million budget proposal.
