ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — Ithaca College has named a new dean. 

Steve TenEyck was chosen as leader of the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance. TenEyck has been part of the IC faculty since 2001 and has an extensive background as a lighting and scenic designer for theatre, dance, and live events. He also served as co-dean last year and previously was an associate dean and department head.

TenEyck started his new role on Saturday.
