(607NewsNow) — Our pets of the week start with Julian (Top L) and Nala (Top R) from CNY Snap.

Julian is approximately 4-5 years old and had a very sad start to life. He was living in a cage in a basement and thankfully was surrendered to the shelter in November 2024. He’s very curious and wants to check out everything because he hasn’t had exposure to much. He needs a patient person that will help him acclimate to a house and give him a ton of attention. He gets along with other cats, but his high energy may make sense for a home where he can be the only pet. He has been neutered, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, and is microchipped and up to date on his vaccines.

Nala is a curious girl and is in the garage area of the shelter because she likes to explore so much. She’ll be 7 years old around June 2025. She previously had two litters of kittens and was in a home with dogs. She enjoyed catnip, laying in a cat tree, and being in the sun. She was fine around calmer kids, but not rambunctious toddlers and would hide when she felt overwhelmed. Her family moved and could not take her with them. She has been spayed, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, and is microchipped and up to date on her vaccines.

Next, we have Tucker (Bottom L) and Beaux (Bottom R) from the Cortland County SPCA. Tucker is a 4-year-old German Shepard, making him a big boy who needs some space to run around and explore. Ready to find his forever home, he would be well suited for a home looking for a loyal companion.

Beaux is a sweet soul, known for his gentle nature and good manners. His goofy side never fails to bring laughter and joy, making every day a little brighter. Beaux is also incredibly smart and loyal, traits that make him an excellent companion.
