CORTLAND, N.Y. (WHCU) — Cortland County leaders are putting leftover money toward Dwyer Park.
Legislative Chair Kevin Fitch tells WHCU crews spent less on the pier than expected.
“Since we allocated $100,000 and the Highway Department was able to do it for $40,000, now we’re looking at the remaining $60,000 of what to do with it for the park,” he says.
Fitch adds the money might be used to repair a wading pool.
