SYRACUSE, NY (607NewsNow) — A leader in Onondaga County is receiving high praise.

Governor Kathy Hochul said Syracuse Mayor Ben Walsh has introduced great ideas for housing.

“He really came to it with a can-do attitude that we should see more of in our elected leaders,” she said.

Hochul added the city is “so fortunate” to have Walsh as its leader. Her comments came during a recent stop in Onondaga County.
