ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) – There’s still time to volunteer for the 12th annual ‘I Love My Park Day.’

The state-wide event, sponsored by Parks & Trails New York in partnership with the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation and local groups, seeks to clean and improve New York’s regional state parks, historic sites, and trails ahead of the summer season. Last year, thousands of volunteers contributed more than 12,000 hours for projects at 150 parks and sites across the state. It happens this Saturday, May 6, 2023. Register here.
