Maddie Cavataio, Editor-in-Chief
Maddie Cavataio is the Editor-in-Chief of 607 News Now. She joined Cayuga Media Group in May of 2024, and is an Ithaca College graduate as well as a native of the area. Outside of work, she enjoys finding new music and spending time outside.

Joe Salzone, News Director
Joe Salzone is the Operations Manager & News Director for Cayuga Media Group and hosts Ithaca’s Morning News on 870AM/97.7FM News Talk WHCU. In his spare time, Joe enjoys finding new craft beer and going on a hike in the Finger Lakes.

Matt Aceto, Anchor/Reporter
Matt Aceto joined the Cayuga Media Group in February 2022 from Portland, Maine. An enthusiastic fan of sports and hip-hop, Matt’s infectious spirit and welcoming personality earns him high praise. Matt also hosts the 9AM hour of Ithaca’s Morning News. He also anchors local news on WHCU from 10AM-2PM.

Mathew Adams, Reporter/Anchor
Mathew Adams has been part of Cayuga Media Group since April 2022. He grew up in Tompkins County and graduated from SUNY Cortland. When he’s not in the newsroom, he’s at home with his dogs and wife. Mathew anchors local news every hour on WHCU from 2PM-5:30PM.
