CAYUGA HEIGHTS, NY (607NewsNow) — Firefighters in Cayuga Heights are looking back on a busy month.

Crews responded to 66 calls in November. That’s the most of any month this year.

One of the calls involved a fire at a sorority home. Authorities believe it began in a trash can.

Fire Chief George Tamborelle said the entire department is “enjoying the brisk pace.”
