ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — Tompkins County aims to crack down on smoke shops that continue selling flavored vape products.

Deputy County Attorney Holly Mosher says some shops have found a loophole in the law.

“A license can be suspended in one name, but then they continue to operate under a different name,” she says.

The Health and Human Services Committee will discuss the issue in May.
