ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — The Community Arts Partnership (CAP) invites art lovers and bargain hunters to the highly anticipated CAP-a-Palooza fundraiser, running through Saturday, December 14th, at the CAP ArtSpace Gallery in the Tompkins Center for History and Culture.
This beloved annual event transforms donated, not-new art into affordable treasures for the community. Shoppers can explore a wide variety of pieces, including vintage, contemporary, professional, amateur, fun, funky, antique, and modern works—all priced to sell.
The event kicked off on Friday, December 6th, and will be staying open daily from noon to 6:00 p.m. through December 14th. Prices drop progressively throughout the sale, culminating in steep discounts during the final days.
CAP-a-Palooza is made possible by the generosity of community members who donate art they no longer need, as well as by the support of CAP’s annual sponsor, Coughlin and Gerhart. This event provides an opportunity to shop sustainably, support the arts, and enjoy the joy of discovery.
The CAP ArtSpace Gallery is located at 110 N. Tioga Street on the Ithaca Commons. Proceeds from the event directly support CAP’s programs, events, and grants, which enrich the region’s vibrant arts community.
Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to find unique art and support a great cause. For more information about CAP and its initiatives, visit the CAP website here.
