ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — In the past couple days, the Southern Tier has been dripped by snow and howling wind.

The National Weather Service says in Tompkins County, wind gusts in the past 24 hours reached 46 miles an hour at the Ithaca Tompkins International Airport, and 43 miles an hour in Groton. The biggest gust in Cortland County was 33 miles an hour in Homer.

Wind advisories ended last night.
