Tioga Downs Winterfest:

Enjoy a light show and other holiday festivities at the Tioga Downs Casino this December, with horse drawn wagon rides available to show you around on Fridays and Saturdays from 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Santa will be making an appearance this Friday, December 6th and will stick around for a meet and greet from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Winterfest runs through December 21st, so check out Tioga Downs’ website here for a full schedule of activities you won’t want to miss such as Sanphy’s Christmas Orchestra, Love N’ Stuff Bear Factory, and more.

Glimmer Nights at Fenimore Farm:

Join Fenimore Farm, formerly The Farmers’ Museum, for some holiday fun with Glimmer Nights. This year, there will be a larger selection of light displays than last year, free carousel rides, themed weekends, and more. Kids aged six years old and under get free admission, with exhibits such as the Mega-Chicken light display, Rainbow Road, and the Flower and Mushroom Garden set up for all to enjoy. Additionally, there will be hot chocolate sold at the Crossroads Cafe for those in need of a hot beverage to warm them up. Broome County Festival of Lights: 

The Broome County Festival of Lights runs until January 5th, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays, and 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. Not only can you enjoy holiday lights, but there will be appearances from Santa every weekend leading up to Christmas, a fireworks show on New Year’s Eve, and special events such as a performance from the Binghamton University Dance Team, Tri-Cities Opera, and much more. The Wild Animal Park Winter Wonderland of Lights:

The Wild Animal Park is holding their Winter Wonderland of Lights at their walk-through zoo until January 1st, 2025. Enjoy the holiday lights, bounce houses, and visit their snack shack for holiday treats. Santa will be there every night up until Christmas day for pictures, and animals that can handle the cold weather will be out. Regular season passes do not apply, with tickets being available for purchase at the door. The Winter Wonderland of Lights is open every weekend of December, as well as some weekdays. Lights on the Lake:

A two-mile drive-thru light show at Onondaga Lake Park, there are over 600,000 lights on display at Lights on the Lake. Exhibits such as Land of Oz, a twinkling fantasy forest, holiday traditions, a fairy tale magic grand finale, and more can be found at this holiday celebration. Running every day through January 13th, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., tickets must be purchased ahead of time and cannot be purchased at the gate.
