ITHACA, NY (CortacaToday) — Narcan is now available at the Tompkins County Public Library.

The Ithaca Voice reports the vending machine distributes free Narcan kits. A $37,000 grant from New York’s opioid settlement money in 2022 paid for the machine, which was unveiled during a ribbon cutting ceremony on Wednesday.

Director Leslie Tabor says the library is the perfect location for the machine, citing staff’s ability to reverse at least four overdoses this year.
