ALBANY, N.Y. (WHCU) — SUNY is dropping ACT and SAT test results from college admissions.

It applies to all 64 schools in the SUNY system, including Cortland and TC3. The suspension had previously been temporary through COVID-19 as a way of boosting enrollment, but SUNY’s board of trustees voted in favor of permanently dropping the requirement.

Submitting test scores in college applications is now optional.
