NEWFIELD, NY (CortacaToday) – The Newfield Fire Company has a new truck.
Firefighters officially put the rescue truck into service on Wednesday, November 13, 2024. The rescue unit replaces its 23-year-old predecessor.

Officials say it’s fully equipped with battery and hand tools, cribbing, spill containment items, EMS equipment, a variety of ropes, and a command series light tower. and more. According to a Facebook post, the Newfield Fire Company says it will look to replace an old tanker truck later this year.
