Molinaro vows to stay in race until absentee, affidavit ballots are counted

ITHACA, NY (CortacaToday) — Congressman Marc Molinaro says he’s still in the race. 

In a statement, Molinaro says he’s trailing Josh Riley by 3,500 votes with over 12,000 absentee and affidavit votes that have not yet been counted.

Riley, who’s a Democrat, claimed a win Tuesday night in the 19th Congressional district. Molinaro, the incumbent Republican, adds he will accept the result.
