ITHACA, NY (CortacaToday) — Most voters in Tompkins and Cortland County will see one proposition on the ballot this year: the New York Equal Rights Amendment. It shows up as Proposition One.

However, voters in Enfield are seeing three additional propositions. Props 2, 3, and 4 are about term limits. Residents of Enfield can vote on increasing terms for the town supervisor, clerk, and highway superintendent from two years to four.

There are two additional proposals under consideration in Cortland County. A proposition to eliminate two positions in Cortland appears on ballots in the Crown City.

In the village of Homer, there’s a proposition about creating service awards for current volunteer firefighters.
