ITHACA, NY (CortacaToday) – A new initiative aimed at energy efficiency and reducing environmental impact has been introduced in Tompkins County.
To help ease the transition for households away from fossil fuels, the Healthy Neighborhoods Program is offering a free induction cooktop, pot, and pan to eligible gas stove users. It’s part of a collaboration from Tompkins County Whole Health and the Department of Planning and Sustainability and is funded by a clean energy grant through NYSERDA.

Supplies are limited. For more information, visit the Tompkins County website here.
